Cool Baby Clothes: Baby Styles Are Changing
How you dress your child like other things in life changes from generation to generation. There was a time when except for excursions outside the home, little ones always wore all in one sleepers or infant nightgowns. Moms and dads back then, reasoned that since babies mostly would just eat and sleep for the first few months of life, what’s the point to dress them up in rockstar baby clothing when they most likely had no where to travel.
Back in the 50′s, you saw more little ones actually wearing outfits in the home, though cute frilly dresses with ruffled plastic pants for infant girls and sailor suits for small boys appeared to be the typical wear for babies in that by gone age. Then came the 60′s and little ones dressed in torn jeans and tees with peace signs giving them an adorable hippy appearance. Today anything goes in infant clothing. You are able to dress your kid up like a small Paul Bunyan in flannel shirts and sporty jeans complete with little tie work boots. Or you can actually dress him or her similar to an avid fisherman complete with fishing vest and little hats. Then of course you have the biker look, complete with leather vest and slick back hair and headband. You can even get little suits that can make your youngster look like one of the “good fellows”. There is even a goth look for your infant. There is just no end to how you can dress your infant nowadays. A new popular look in today’s infant clothes is the punk rock look. Your infant when dressed in these clothes can look like a combination of “Punky Brewster” and a member of a heavy metal band complete with bright colors and a mohawk that is if your infant has enough hair on his head to spike. Of course there are still the sailor suits and frilly dresses and let’s not forget the camouflage outfits, the sunglasses and all the other infant gear that is made to compliment whatever look you choose for your child for that day.

Parents get pleasure from showing off their children and there is no better way to obtain attention to your baby than to dress him in a manner meant to really draw attention. What’s more as a parent you realize that you are able to dress your baby the way you desire for only a short period of time, as before you know it he will have developed his own style sense and want to pick out his own clothes.
